The experience
Simon's background before joining Corpra was founded in property law and he brings lengthy experience of advising on strategy and transaction management in an international context, especially from his previous role in a FTSE-100 technology company. Operating through an enabling and consultancy style, he advises board level and senior executives to devise and execute property initiatives to aid alignment of global property portfolios with operational interests. His international experience covers most major economies as well as many "emerging markets."
The expertise
An expert in cross-border transactions with an occupier focus, Simon sees beyond the initial concept and seeks to understand deeply what is driving the business. He then seeks to align the interests of the board and key stakeholders to ensure effective and timely project delivery. His familiarity with overseas transactions provides a cultural understanding and an awareness of issues that arise from various fields including local practices, regulation, tax, finance and accounting. This unique combination forms a strategic transaction focus that enables rapid delivery in response to operational need.
The personality
In his spare time, Simon likes to sail off the East Coast of England and is a qualified RYA skipper. His other love is Test Cricket, which he tries to enjoy alongside his other interests of photography and travel. Simon is married with two children at University.
