The experience
Richard has over 20 years experience in creating, leading and managing businesses principally in the Consulting and professional services sector.  Richard’s CV epitomises a senior executive with strong ‘player/manager’ skills with a passion for developing high capability teams, delivering innovative strategies and implementation plans.  He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.  He is currently an adviser to The Work Foundation on its renowned Leadership Programme and is on a panel of expert strategic estates transformation consultants selected by Office of Government Commerce.  He is a regular contributor to conferences and debates on the role and management of real estate in change management.

A creative thinker, Richard leads Corpra’s innovative strategies for the alignment of business and real estate.  He has key expertise in improving the management and utilisation of real estate in the public, private and voluntary sectors.  Richard’s passion for customer focus and empathy is often a control plank to change. He also has a wealth of experience in helping management teams with change and challenge.

 

The personality
Richard's experience and customer focus makes the most discerning client comfortable and confident. In return Richard delivers his promises with a mix of serious commitment and a sense of fun. When he leaves the office, Richard becomes a fanatical pursuer of a variety of sports and is also heavily involved in equestrian events commentating up and down the UK. As the proud father of four girls however spare time is hard to come by!
