The experience 

Damian has spent 25 years in a variety of retail roles, most recently in senior management positions in the USA, Dubai and Moscow. These have been with well recognised, blue chip companies and have seen Damian change and improve organisations at every level from Director to the Sales Floor teams in over twenty countries, including the UK and mainland Europe. This has entailed moving teams to different goals to harness them towards profitability whilst recognising the talent within at every level.

The expertise 

Retail Operations are where he has been able to readily demonstrate the ability to set new standards of Customer Service and most importantly to ensure that every aspect of the business is focused on delivering their piece of the proposition. His enthusiasm and passion for this as well as a wealth of knowledge in appropriate practices and procedures and particularly how available labour can best meet customer needs while remaining efficient have been cornerstones of his success. This has ranged from improving the logistics infrastructure of a Russian retailer to developing the KPI system for a truly international American corporation.

The personality                                         

Damian is a huge rugby, cricket, soccer and golf fan, no longer a player of the more physically demanding of these, he does still play the occasional game of golf. His six year old daughter is remaining aloof about the virtues of all these sports, but he has still not given up hope of persuading her otherwise.
