The experience
Before and during her time at university Joana has undertaken research roles for a number of political and environmental charities. Whenever she travels home to Portugal, she helps in her family retail business. She has expanded her international exposure by studying at the Ludwig Maximilian Universität in Munich for part of her degree.
The expertise
Joana’s special expertise lies in looking at the bigger picture in relation to complex problems that clients face across several sectors. She uses her research and analytical skills to increase the range of options available to organisations.
The personality
Having been brought up on the Portuguese coast, Joana considers her days off are well spent when with nature. Favourite activities include snorkelling and fishing. She is also a devoted cook who believes that her strengths lie in baking desserts and eating them too!
